What is hand poke?
Hand poke - also known as stick and poke - tattoos are the oldest known form of tattoos and date back to 5,200 BCE, Egypt. It is a traditional style of tattooing that is entirely handmade and requires no machines or electricity. Designs are created through a series of dots; the skin is pricked repeatedly using a needle dipped in ink until the design is fully etched.
Is it permanent?
Yes, a hand poked tattoo is permanent. Like any tattoo, it will fade with time, but no more than a machine tattoo if given proper after care.
The ink I use is organic, vegan and non-toxic. I follow proper sanitary guidelines for tattooing to ensure health and safety.
