What is Wonderdolls? Of course, I can not completely explain what a Wonderdoll is nor would I wish to, for her very essence is an enigma. She is mysterious even to me, the dollmaker. I know only how to bring her to life. The Wonderdoll is a playful depictive creature of mysterious beauty and mesmerizing darkness. She invites viewers to open their mind and enjoy her imaginative and sultry world. Upon seeing her, one catches a glimpse of the dark side in rare form... striking... captivating... absolutely magnetic. "Her eyes, she's on the dark side, neutralize every one in sight." (Lyrics: Angel by Massive Attack) I believe inside every woman lives a wonderdoll. Darkly surreal in life but vividly alive in the imagination. She captivates all those who cross her path with her sincere uniqueness. It is up to me as artist to coax the doll out of hiding, even if only for a moment, and capture her forever on film.
