Peanut Butter stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

The Chocolate cravings strike again! ...there is nothing better than the sweet and tasty combination of chocolate and peanut butter. 

Peanut Butter stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup cane sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup applesauce

1 tbsp vegetable oil

3 tbsp nondairy milk (I used unsweetened almond milk)

2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cups wheat flour

1/4 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup chocolate chips

Peanut butter filling:

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp wheat flour

Turn oven on to 350F. Mix sugar, oil, nondairy milk and vanilla, set aside. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Add flour mix to sugar mix and blend. Add chocolate chips.

Mix peanut butter filling ingredients together and set aside.

Form the chocolate dough into medium sized balls and then flatten in your hand. Place a tiny scoop of peanut butter filling in the middle of the flattened dough ball and then wrap the dough around the filling. Place the dough balls onto a baking sheet, they spread a little bit but not much. Bake for 10-12 minutes. ENJOY!
